HOW I CAN HELP

From “Where do I start?”
to something useful.

You don't need a technical brief. Start with the task that takes too long, the spreadsheet that keeps growing, or the idea you haven't had time to explore.

01

Make sense of AI

Work out where AI fits, what needs human judgement and which first step is worth taking.

  • Review everyday tasks and bottlenecks
  • Explore suitable tools and use cases
  • Develop prompts and a practical starting plan
02

Simplify the repetitive

Connect the steps between collecting information, organising it and getting a useful result.

  • Forms and spreadsheet workflows
  • Document and reporting processes
  • Clear checks before information is used
03

Build tools that fit

Turn a scattered process into a simple tool you can understand, use and maintain.

  • Business templates and planning tools
  • Customer and activity management
  • Guidance for everyday use

POSSIBILITIES IN PRACTICE

A CLEAR WAY TO WORK TOGETHER

Start with your work.
Choose the technology after.

A useful solution begins with understanding the problem. Here's the proposed path from an initial conversation to a tool you can put to work.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Talk it through

Describe your current process, the frustrating parts and what a better result would look like.

02 / DEFINE

Agree the scope

Clarify the deliverables, access requirements, responsibilities and fees before work begins.

03 / TEST

Try a focused version

Start with a manageable workflow, use suitable test data and review the output together.

04 / HAND OVER

Make it usable

Document the steps, discuss limitations and agree what support is needed next.

MEET YOUR CONSULTANT

Hello, I'm
Mari Watanabe.

AI consulting & practical business tools

I want AI to feel less overwhelming — and more useful in the work you actually do.

My focus is practical: understanding a process, organising the information and exploring tools that make the next step clearer. That might mean a better template, a simpler workflow or a small application.

You don't need to know which tool you want. Bring a question, an idea or an everyday task, and we can work out a sensible place to begin.

CONFIDENCE COMES FROM CLARITY

Useful tools.
Considered decisions.

AI can help with the work, but it still needs a clear purpose, suitable information and thoughtful review.

01

Human judgement stays central

Build review points into the workflow, especially for information shared with customers or used to make decisions.

02

Be deliberate about data

Discuss what information a tool needs, where it goes and who should have access before using business data.

03

Make the scope visible

Know what is included, what isn't, and what needs testing. Benefits depend on the task and how the tool is used.

A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

Let's make
the first step easier.

Do I need to understand AI already?

No. You can start by describing your work in your own words. The initial discussion helps identify a practical task and any questions that need answering.

Do I need a whole new system?

Not necessarily. A clearer template or a small improvement to a spreadsheet may be enough. The starting point is your process and what you need it to do.

What kinds of projects can we discuss?

AI-assisted administration, forms, document preparation, planning spreadsheets, marketing calendars and customer-management workflows are all useful starting points. We'll discuss whether the task is a good fit before agreeing to proceed.

How are fees worked out?

Fees depend on the agreed scope, complexity and support needs. Ask for a proposal outlining the work and pricing in AUD before committing. Third-party subscriptions and any applicable taxes should be clearly identified in the proposal.

Should I send business data in my first enquiry?

A general description is enough. Please don't include customer records, passwords, financial account details or other confidential information. Access and data handling can be discussed later.

START WITH A CONVERSATION

What's taking up
too much of your time?

Tell me a little about your work and what you'd like to make easier. An idea is enough to start.
